Tilspire 1.17.1

tilspire 1.17.1 removes the last piece of server setup: scheduled jobs now run without a cron line.

Scheduled jobs without cron #

Without a cron line, the site runs its own due jobs from visits and from an open admin panel. There is nothing to set up on your host.

A cron line is still worth adding if you can: it is the only way off-site backups, email digests and automatic forum moderation run, and Health tells you when one of those is waiting for it.

Worth knowing when you update #

• Update Forums to 1.17.1 together with tilspire: Update everything does both.
